Repair Cue Lathe

Introducing the first 48" Bed Cue Repair Lathes with custom made 1.4" Bore Headstock with either a 3 or 4 Jaw Chuck and optional Rear Chuck too (+$95), 1/2HP DC motor with Rev. Rotation (standard).

The 48" bed comes with 46" lead screw, 2 Steady Rests and 5 reducing Delrin Collets, chuck collets, Carriage with Custom Hand wheel, and tool post with 4 different cutting bits ( round nose, boring, right and left hand, and cut off tool), Tailstock with 1/2"chuck and concave live center, foot controller. You get all the above for $1425.

Tool Box Cue Lathe II

The new custom toolbox cue lathe II features an all new1.4" thru hole headstock and comes with all the tool bits and accessories you need to get started on cue repair and maintenance.

This cue lathe is perfect for a traveling cue mechanic, or local pool hall league setup. This lathe is capable of doing any repair job, including joint pin replacement, tips, ferrules, finishing cues, and cleaning shafts and butts.

The accessories include: 4 cutting tools, tips, ferrules, razor blades, sand paper, steady rest collets, 4 shafts, tips and butt joints, clamping knobs, and bunch more. This lathe comes with a custom 1/3hp brushless motor with speed control ( 300-2700rpm) and built in fan for cooling. The speed control is ideal for putting on leather wrap and various other applications.

This lathe has a 13 inch bed with three 18 inch extensions, two steady rests and a leg for weight offset on the extension. This lathe's bed spans 67" when fully assembled! It is capable of doing work on house cues too. Foot pedal is available upon request for no extra charge.

The tool box dimensions are 22" x 12" x 11", also the motor is mounted to the headstock, so you can slide the headstock up and down or mount it on the extension piece for joint work and much more.

This is the new custom toolbox cue lathe III.

Cue Building Lathe

Here is the first cue building lathe with my custom H-Channel with Auto Feed, Taper Bar, Router, and much more.

This Cue Building lathe is the reason I designed the H-channel. For a deep sidewall dovetail which makes it really easy to attach the taper bar on the back side; and the auto feed Acme Rod and start and stop switches.

The headstock is the tall style 0.991" higher center than the regular Taig headstock. Using a regular carriage with the side by side top slides, this gives the end user a much bigger turning radius, thus the router and router bracket are mounted directly on top of the spring loaded slide, which provides optimum weight distribution on the carriage and the top slide. It allows you to mount the router vertically or horizontally.

The custom pinion gear and lead screw housing, allow to add the 4" handwheel, plus provides very smooth gear/leadscrew engagement.

The auto feed motor is a custom high torque geared head 90 RPM servo motor with a built in speed control.
The on/off and reverse switch are mounted below the leadscew, which can be positioned anywhere along the bed (perfect for making points).

Cue Building Lathe II

The Cue Building Lathe II is a fully refined design from the first Cue Building Lathe.

This lathe comes fully loaded with new features that makes it unique and be in a class on it own. The headstock was slightly redisgned to accept dual chuck and 24pt indexing pulley, with high precision Japanese bearings. next comes the new 1/2" wide 20-pitch corse 42" gear rack mounted upside down for the manual carriage travel.

The newly designed 5" wide carriage with UHMW dove tail interface for super smooth travel, that will never bind or scratch the bed, while providing a tighter fit than a standard taig carriage.

The autofeed is also new with a stonger heavy duty gear motor with a full independent gear driven leadscrew.

The 4-sided taper bar is also a new improved addition to this lathe.

The custom pinion gear and independent lever gear for autofeed lead screw engagement makes this lathe the closest thing to an industrial machine lathe with out the extra heavy wieght to go along with it. There are couple of you tube video links that will show this lathe in action.
